Adel Aljubeir, the Saudi Arabian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, met with S Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister, on Thursday during his unexpected trip to India to talk about methods to ease tensions between India and Pakistan.

As the  formerly strained relations between India and Pakistan worsen as a result of the Indian  ervice’s targeted attacks on nine terror installations in Pakistan and Pakistan- Occupied Kashmir, Aljubeir is visiting New Delhi.

Amid the growing pressures between India and Pakistan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also arrived in New Delhi at night last night as part of a planned visit.

Jaishankar and Araghchi will shortly hold in-depth discussions. He will also meet with President Droupadi Murmu in the afternoon.

Indian military  colors launched bullet strikes on nine terror  spots beforehand on Wednesday in  retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack, including the Lashkar-e-Taiba camp in Muridke and the Jaish-e-Mohammad( JeM) terror group’s  fort of Bahawalpur.

According to Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Pakistan had taken “no provable step” to act against terrorist structures on homes under its control, therefore India chose to launch “commensurate” attacks to bring the perpetrators and itineraries of the April 22 Pahalgam terror assault to trial.

Furthermore, the attacks claimed the lives of 26 people and injured 46 others, according to the Pakistani military. Operation Sindoor, as it was code-named, increased tensions between the two sides that had existed since the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives. India had declared several harsh diplomatic, economic, and political measures, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, in response to “cross-border linkages” to the Pahalgam massacre.

Araghchi also unexpectedly traveled to Pakistan on Monday to meet with the authorities in Islamabad. After that, he returned to Tehran before flying to New Delhi to symbolize Iran’s de-hyphenation of its relations with India and Pakistan.
