Although the “Blue City” of Jodhpur is better known for its distinctive blue-colored houses, clustered around the overwhelming Mehrangarh Fort. These beautiful city views of the sprawling streets below, along with beautiful palaces and museums in this magnificent fort, are part of the grandeur. Walking through the narrow lanes of the old city and the busy Sardar Market close by the iconic Clock Tower gives a flavor of everyday life in Jaipur. Jaisalmer – the “Golden City” perched on the sands of Thar rises from its impressive Jaisalmer fort, a fort alive with markets, havelis, and temples bounded within its fort. Do a little exploring in the minute Patwon ki Haveli and peaceful Gadisar lake, Jaisalmer will feel incomplete without this.
