Google launched its official Google Store in India on Thursday, May 29, allowing customers to buy Pixel smartphones directly online. Now, pixel enthusiasts nationwide can buy these products straight from the manufacturer. The most recent expansion enhances Google’s current retail presence both online and offline. The business claims that one of the main pillars of Pixel’s strategy in India is this direct-to-consumer growth.
India remains a significant market for Pixel, according to Mitul Shah, managing director of devices and services at Google India. According to the firm, Indian consumers are leading the way in adopting technology that improves their everyday lives and satisfies their changing goals.

“A crucial milestone in our goal to empower more Indians with our AI-powered Pixel smartphones is the introduction of direct online purchasing on the Google Store. We’re not simply selling technology; we’re bringing smart, useful solutions that unlock creativity, increase productivity, and keep consumers connected by offering direct access, flexible financing, and a seamless experience. Our dedication to India and our enthusiasm for its digital future are strengthened by this move,” Shah stated.
In addition to offering a wide range of customer-focused affordability alternatives like free EMI, quick cashback, exchange bonuses, store credits, etc., the India Google Store will enable customers to select from a variety of payment methods, including UPI.
Customers can pay for items over time with HDFC and more than 15 other preferred banks via free EMI. When using a credit card to make an EMI payment, one can get instant cashback, starting with certain HDFC bank credit cards. Additionally, customers can receive a special exchange incentive when they trade in their old smartphones. Through the exchange program, current Pixel customers can upgrade their devices and receive additional offers or discounts. Additionally, customers can use shop credits they have accrued to make future purchases on the Google shop.
