How Air India and IndiGoAdapt to the Demand Surge Post Terror Incidents:
Air India and IndiGo have also said they will operate extra flights from Srinagar to Delhi & Mumbai on 23rd April 2025 (Monday) today post the Pahalgam terror attack. Number of tourists that want to leave the affected area were rising exponentially and this move to help them leaving by inflight.
Aadmi Govt: Air India to add More Flights From Srinagar To Delhi &Mumbai:
According to Air India, Additional 2 flights from Srinagar in operation today In a flight, one will fly to Delhi at 11:30 AM and the other train goes to Mumbai at 12p.m. The airline stated in its release as a whole that it will maintain the schedule for other scheduled flights to and from Srinagar. Air India, meanwhile, has announced complimentary rebooking and full refunds on cancellations of flights booked in cash for confirmed bookings up to April 30, 2025, on these services.

IndiGo to Add More Flights on Srinagar – Delhi & Mumbai Route
Like-wise IndiGo has said that it will add two more flights through Srinagar today one to Delhi and other to Mumbai (over and above daily scheduled). IDAI official says this information is correct for press ( Press) The airline, that operates a daily flight from Srinagar to New Delhi also announced extended waiver on rescheduling and cancellations applicable till April 30 for all the bookings in Single CKB only(valid for That are booked on or before April 22 ).
Government Alerts Fare Surge:
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has taken note of this situation and advised all the Airlines AGAINST SURGE PRICING on Srinagar route Right NOW, during this sensitive hour. Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, had held an emergency half auditor with operators of airlines to tell them prices need to remain in usual level, so as not to really burden passengers. The minister is also working with the state governments and local authorities, to deliver all level aid to those whom targeted in Pahalgam terror attack.
