At New Delhi, Pasang Dorjee Sona spoke about the new tourism policy launch as the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism Education RWD Library and Parliamentary Affairs. The government aims to achieve double domestic visitor numbers and reach an international visitor increase of ten times to offer multiple immersive tourism options.

- Ecotourism—Promoting conservation-driven travel experiences.
- Tribal Tourism—Celebrating the vibrant indigenous cultures of the state.
- MICE Tourism—Facilitating Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions.

Boosting Investments and Business Ease
The government is simplifying business processes to attract investment, with district-level land banks and a dedicated investor facilitation cell in partnership with Invest India. Skill development initiatives are also being introduced in collaboration with reputed institutions.
