A serious car accident in Delhi’s Naraina region WestDelhi has taken two lives and left two others in critical condition. The incident is said to have been the result of reckless driving and the Delhi police have booked this swift action followed by a complete verification on the incident.
The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz (apparently migrating at high speed) had an all of the sudden collision with a pair of stationary vehicle in Naraina. It crash damaged the car badly and it threw away people in it by the power of impact. Immediate emergency services like the Delhi Fire service and ambulances were poised at the location. Firefighters worked to remove the victims from what was an incredibly wrecked vehicle. Two were killed on site, on hearing went into surgery at the Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital. Authorities in Delhi have launched a full-fledged probe into the circumstances leading up to the accident. It appears from initial assessments that the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was clocking at a very high speed, exposing dangerous losing control and then impact. Investigators are also investigating other potential causes (mechanical failure or potential driving while impaired).

CCTV images from nearby stores and area surrounding are being studied to reconstruct what happened leading to the crash, according to sources. The vehicle will also undergo forensic examination for mechanical cause of crash. The incident has ignited major road safety concerns in the Naraina locality of West Delhi. Shock and grief at the number killed have also led to demands for stricter implementation of traffic rules particularly those aimed at reducing speed by residents. At night time pedestrian safety has also come sharply into focus. As per preliminary information, the injured in critical condition at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. The loss of life from this accident hit hard the neighbourhood police have offered their condolences to the families left behind.
