The Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister of Odisha, Smt. Pravati Parida, meets with the IATO team, led by President Mr. Ravi Gosain, to invite him to the 40th IATO Annual Convention, which will take place at Swosti Premium Spa & Resorts in Puri, Odisha, from August 22 to August 25, 2025. The Honorable Deputy Chief Minister meets with the IATO team, which also includes Vice President Mr. Sanjay Razdan, Immediate Past President Mr. Rajiv Mehra, IATO Eastern Region Chairman Mr. J.K. Mohanty, and IATO Odisha Chapter Chairman Mr. Gagan Sarangi.

According to Mr. Ravi Gosain, the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister has agreed to attend the convention and has promised her entire support, as well as that of the Directorate of Tourism, the Government of Odisha, and OTDC. She adds that during the convention, special arrangements will be made for the IATO delegates to visit the Lord Jagannath Temple and the Puri Beach makeover, with flawless admission. In addition, she agrees to host IATO representatives for post-convention tours organized by the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation.
After the meeting, Smt. Mansi Nimbhal, Director of Tourism, Government of Odisha, meets with the IATO delegation to extend an invitation to attend the convention and ask for her assistance, which she accepts.

The 40th IATO Annual Convention is planned to be held in Puri, Odisha, from August 22–25, 2025, with assistance from Odisha Tourism. In addition to the host state of Odisha, the Ministry of Tourism, and the Government of India, 15 to 18 other countries are anticipated to attend the convention.
The Swosti Premium Beach Resort in Puri will act as the event’s venue hotel and host the convention registration process, opening party, business sessions, and evening program. About 1000 to 1200 actors from all over the country are expected to take part, including business directors, tourism and hospitality experts, members of the trip trade media, senior officers from the Ministry of Tourism, the Government of India, and several other nations. Convention tours are being planned to expose the state to tourism stakeholders in an effort to promote Odisha both domestically and internationally.
