    CM Fadnavis, Alongside PM Modi, Hails Ranbir-Yash’s ‘Ramayana’ as ‘Best in the Globe’

    MUMBAI: In a very positive review of the much-awaited film, Ramayan which would have Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram and Yash as Ravan, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis reviewed a live happening WAVES 2025 event in Mumbai itself as far as the film production standards concerned. 

    Chief Minister Impressed  

    A seemingly half-hearted visit by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis to the pavilion of what he called his “big brother” Nitesh Tiwari, another India Topper production, listening to yarns of what a nice person he’d been in business life.    

    Great Amounts of praise & vision  

    Fadnavis said he was “amazed that the Ramayana that you are making. He then confidently asserted his belief that ” it will be the best in the world or biggest” drama He emphasized that this is how ancient Indian philosophy can be best be presented to modern youth, in the approach to such epics.

    Star Cast of the Epic  

    The movie runs through the paces with a handful of actors such as Ranbir Kapoor (Rama), Sai Pallavi (sita), and Yash as Ravana, Planned to be released in two parts, 2026 and 2027 (movie directed by Nitesh Tiwari). 

    Context of the Viewing  

    Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis viewed glimpses of the ‘Ramayana’ production alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their visit to the WAVES 2025 exhibition — an early look. WAVES 2025 summit in Mumbai — where the visual feast is slated to take place at the event (a platform for the latest audio-visual and entertainment tech.) The movie “Ramayana”, directed by Nitesh Tiwari as he said, is an epic ambitious, and massive production coining older Indian storytelling with the latest technology. The deeply epic project to relive 10-me lakh years of history will be released across two parts as part of Diwali 2026 and 2027 under the aegis of producer Namit Malhotra, with its aim to project Indian narratives globally.
