On a Delhi street as she was stabbings repeatedly in front of passersby, a 19-year-old woman was brutally attacked by a man after which violence occured. A daylight assault has sent tremors across the city following allegations of increased insecurity and brazen crime.
The crime is especially shocking as it occurred in broad daylight in a street where dozens of people had gathered when the man suddenly charged the female victim. What eyewitnesses have been describing is a disarray with the attacker repeatedly stabbing the young woman, cutting and running. The brutality of the attack in a public setting has left residents with fear and bewilderment.
Police were called in right away and found the victim severely injured on the scene. Hours later…. doctors are fighting against time, trying to save her life in emergency some hospital She had been attacked and the police are out to catch this perp, take massive teams out to solve this incident.
It is suspected that the assault was most probably a result of an argument. Officials are examining every avenue possible, including jealous lover or planned attack on behalf of others. The police are also looking into the CCTV footage that has been shot in vicinity to apprehend the attacker & find out his movement.
This has once again prompted people to worry more about the increase in crime in Delhi, happening to women. The audacity of the attack i.e being perpetrated in the open on an overcrowded road has questioned whether things need change for protection.
Worldwide backlash over The 19-Year-Old Woman Stabbed has occurred due to women’s organizations and human rights activists. They have demanded immediate action to nab the culprit and to seek accountability for the victim.
They also are demanding a re-evaluation of security policies and more police in high crime areas. In the wake of this Delhi murder case there has been an increase in public furor with the residents asking for more number of police on roads and implementation of laws to secure women. Too many Delhi Crime scenes have been violent.
After all the Delhi Police has stated to citizens that they will not let the criminal get away and are doing a complete investigation.
