This temple is of deity Igguthappa, who is the main deity worshiped by the Kodavas.The deity is worshiped as the ‘giver of grain’ , they believe that due to the mercy and grace of deity Igguthappa, they are able to harvest a good crop.
Nishani Betta Trek :
Nishani is a spectacular mountain peak which is situated near Talakaveri. The trek to this peak offers adventure with its beautiful landscape.Nishani provides a rare 360 degree view of the Brahmagiri hill range.
Climbing up the Brahmagiri hills one can visit the Talakaveri temple, and can get a panoramic view of the beautiful evergreen forest . Early in the morning especially in monsoon , relaxing , spectacular pleasant mountain view can grab your eyes .

Dubare (rafting):

Dobara elephant come is situated between the Kaveri and reserve forest. It was once the training camp of elephants and now it has become a beautiful spot for wildlife enthusiasts as well as travelers.
Nagarahole :
Nagarahole earlier known as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park was named after Nagrahole which means ‘serpent river’ in Kannada language. Is it spread over Mysore and Kodagu and covers an area of almost 850 square kilometres. It is a major hub of tiger conservation under the project tiger. This protected area supports a large ecosystem of carnivores and herbivores. Here a large variety of animal species are found like tiger, leopard, Asiatic elephants, reptiles, deer, bears, different types of birds and other small animals.
You can experience jungal Safari here with a jeep or a boat ,and can have a closer look at these beautiful species.
Abbi waterfalls:
It is another tourist spot of Coorg. Abbi waterfalls is situated near spice and coffee estate . Here the river Kaveri drops from the height of over 74 creating a spectacular waterfall. Here you can experience the rushing water of this waterfall.
Other waterfalls like Iruppu waterfall and Chelavara waterfalls are also very popular waterfalls situated on the river Kaveri for their impressive view.
Bhagamandala:
Bhagamandala is situated at the lower hills of talacauvery , it is a secret place because here three sacred rivers called cauvery, kannike and sujyoti meet together and this is the only reason that attracts thousands of devotees to this place. Bhagamandala is a group of three temples. If you are a spiritual person, you must visit this place for peace and calmness.
Coffee estates:
Coorg is heaven for people who love adventure and nature.
