Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir- The people of Kashmir, channeled through their strong voice the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) which followed the latest atrocity in Pahalgam have once again reaffirmed their resolve of maintaining the timeless tradition of hospitality of the land and pledge safety for each and every visitor.
The message of KCCI to a large extent says that the outrage done by a handful of violent elements do not reflect not only the indigen quirks of what values and ethos do Kashmiri people stand for.
Pahalgam attack: KCCI condemns brutal assault
President KCCI, Javid Ahmad Tenga held press conference at Srinagar condemn the carnage on innocent civilians. Tenga observed that acts of violence are out of question from Kashmir culture and values. He said the people of Kashmir condemn both types of violence with the utmost intensity and all form of terrorism is to be opposed as we have citizens and nationhood.
Voices of Kashmir have denounced this violence Most strongly For us such acts have no place in our society, in our culture and our values. “Kashmir is in general a hospitable place,” proclaimed Tenga.

Respect for Hospitality & Security of Visitors
As the KCCI president underlined, people in Kashmir have always been welcoming, this sad case will not define the spirit of the region. He tells tourists and prospective visitors that it continues to be as peaceful, safe, people-centric place and this is making sure others are safe.
Tenga said “It is in our genes to be hospitable and cherish the age-old traditions of Kashmiris for the safety and Assured Comfort of our guests”
KCCI said the people of Kashmir had shown solidarity with the victims by undertaking complete shutdown in protest against the attack and rejecting violence.
KCCI said, this collective appeal signals to the entire world loud and clear that Peace-loving Kashmiris have come out united against those who want to create communal disharmony. The body also called for peace and requested all communities to join hands to uphold the indigenously developed way of peaceful coexistence, co-habitation.
