Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, will land in India on May 13. With just two days to go for its launch, everyone is waiting for the Galaxy S25 Edge, which speaks of being light and thin without compromising on performance as a whole. The phone was first mentioned at Galaxy Unpacked 2025, soon after the Galaxy S25 series was launched.
The Galaxy S25 Edge’s very thin build will distinguish it and perhaps make it one of the thinnest Samsung flagship phones to date. It should be only 5.8 mm thick, weigh far less than 170 grams in total, and feature a minimal camera hump. It is not yet known whether Samsung will stick with the aluminum frame used in the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus or switch to the lighter and more expensive titanium frame.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is going to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, identical to the S25 Ultra, but with a slimmer frame and thinner bezels. Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy S25 Edge would utilize Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 for enhanced scratch and drop resistance.

Camera advancements this time are expected to focus more on software than hardware. A 200MP primary camera sensor with enhanced low-light performance and HDR is hinted by initial rumors; the sensor could be a slightly modified ISOCELL HP2 on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It could feature a telephoto or an unusual ultra-wide-angle lens. Besides, 8K video recording is expected to be facilitated by the device. Interestingly, the full lens assembly and camera module have been made thinner without compromising flagship device shooting capabilities.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is likely to drive the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, whereas certain markets may permit a model usage where Samsung’s in-house Exynos chipset is utilized. Both versions are expected to be better at managing heat and efficiency. Storehouse options extend from 256 GB to 1 TB, and RAM can begin at 12 GB. The phone will probably ship with One UI 7, based on Android 15.
Both 15W wireless and 25W string charging are likely to be supported by the Galaxy S25 Edge’s. Its 3,900 mAh battery. Along with One UI 7, Samsung may also deliver extra battery health operation features. While the battery capacity looks small compared to newer rivals, software advancements are most likely how Samsung is able to deliver all-day battery life.
The Galaxy S25 Edge base variant, which can feature 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, will reportedly be around Rs. When it comes to features and price, it is likely to be mid-way between the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. After its release, the smartphone should be available for pre-order both online and offline on a consistent basis.
