Actor Mannara Chopra who is to be in ‘Laughter Chefs 2’, hit by cyberbullying on Internet as she went public with some tussle against Airline, allegedly being refused boarding. Already having an incident, as shared by Chopr via social media is being scrutinized like crazy and why celebs have no privacy in the net. Feeling the need to vent a little frustrations, Chopra opened up Instagram and let you in on her infuriating journey supposedly being stopped at boarding a flight.
Although she left very vague details about a specific airline’s decision in her early posts, her authentic tale of it got immediate replies. But the story immediately changed when social media users started chiming in with their own theories and opinions. Most people online seemed to either agree with the set up (so her public complaining is true) or openly troll Chopra for complaining online.
Some doubted her veracity, others said she wanted too much attention. Comments were filled with hate, memes and seven layers of sarcasm across multiple platforms making it an epic online discussion. One of the main points Netizens were debating was the insufficient context in which Chopra made her original post. We found it hard to distinguish an opinion on the issue without knowing all the facts, most argued. A few users also claimed celebrities expect preferment and hence overreact to basic airline protocols.

It has also sparked debates on the behavior, consumer perception and generally type of celebrity. Having been on Bigg Boss before, Chopra is a name that the audience are familiar to and what she does is always commented. What occurred now has stoked the debate on how figures in public eye should deal with grievances and public behaviour.
First airline involved has not issued any statement on the incident yet. No one in their right mind would have posted what Chopra tried is pretty anti-social, only if it were addressed weteive (in private). The rapid online reaction was made possible with the airline involved had not yet spoken out about it.
On the other hand, the incident has shown the duality of social media to celebrities.

Indeed it is a two-edged sword that social media can end up being for many celebrities– a means not only to reach their fans but scrutinized immediately (and often harshly) in real time.Chopra already is a prime example of why one should think twice about exposing a grievance in full public view, without complete context. The staggering amount of virulently mean comments she has faced illustrates profile-subverting preference for anonymity.
