New Delhi — National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025 was conducted on May 4, and initial student feedback and coaching analysis says the paper level is Mixed ranging from average-difficult released paper as compared to previous years with a lot of increase in difficulties.
The examination was said to be those candidates who describe the exam as lengthy and grueling, more so for some segments.
What The Exam Was Like And Initial Reactions
In a pen and paper format, the NEET UG 2025 witnessed more than 20.8 lakhs appear nationwide.

Subject-wise level of difficulty

High Score: Expert Opinion
The difficulty level and lengthiness of the paper at large, experts opine will make it tougher to get super high scores this year since of course. Bhrajesh Maharshi (from Allen Career Institute) — while speaking about the increased difficulty in NEET UG 2025 will certainly there would be not so many top scorers of 95+ this year. Other experts added their voice to this, where the blueprint of the paper and its question pattern was designed to have a discernible differential at the scoring end so that it was difficult to score over and away from the top.
Answer Key Information
Many coaching centers revealed unofficial answer keys for the paper codes(45, 46, 47, 48) shortly after examinations so that students can predict their scores This unofficial answer key gives the candidate a chance to compare their answers and calculate how many marks they could have got according to an official marking scheme (+4 for correct, -1 for incorrect and zero for unattempted). The answer key of NEET 2025 is likely to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) soon, probably towards the end of May
