Radisson Hotel Group has marked a historic achievement in its India journey by crossing the 200-hotel milestone, reinforcing its status as one of the country’s leading international hospitality brands. With 128 operational properties and 77 more under development, this expansion reflects the group’s commitment to strategic growth, quality service, and market diversity.
The announcement coincides with the signing of five new properties, further solidifying Radisson’s footprint in both established and emerging travel destinations across South Asia. The latest signings include the serene Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Pawna Lake, the centrally located Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucknow CBD, Radisson Hotel Rajkot, and two notable conversions – St. Marks Hotel in Bangalore and Temple Tree Hotel in Shirdi, both joining the Radisson Individuals brand.
Over the past 14 months, Radisson has added more than 51 properties across leisure and metro markets in India, showing consistent demand for its trusted brand portfolio. Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer of Radisson Hotel Group, emphasized that crossing the 200-hotel mark is a reflection of “strong growth, deep owner trust, and the relevance of our brands in a fast-evolving market.”
Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, highlighted the group’s local impact, noting that every hotel signed not only enhances guest experiences but also supports economic development. “We are creating job opportunities, uplifting local communities, and fueling regional tourism,” he said.
Radisson’s momentum has remained steady, even accelerating, with the group entering 45 new Indian markets in the last three years alone. This milestone comes on the heels of Radisson’s most successful year in South Asia, driven by a scalable business model and unwavering focus on customer satisfaction.
As 2025 unfolds, Radisson continues to champion a dynamic growth strategy that balances expansion with sustainability, innovation, and cultural relevance. Its latest milestone not only highlights past successes but sets the stage for a vibrant future in Indian and South Asian hospitality.
