Posters of Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 are having a good business in India, as it crossed the ₹ 90 cr net in its opening week.
Crime thriller Raid, a sequel to the 2018 hit “Raid”, has debuted strongly and continued on its run into to first week.
First and Best Wedge
2025-05-01 Releases Raids 2. This cleaning away of the use of the raider got positive player attraction from the crowd. The collection nosedived on weekdays after a super hit opening weekend for the film, but as of Day 7 (Wednesday, May 7th), the cumulative gross has surpassed ₹90 crores in India net and appears to be a solid performance versus other releases.
Ajay Devgn Remains a Good Box Office Attractor
The film will centre around Ajay Devgn as the typical IRS officer, Amay Patnaik. His on-screen presence and overall compelling narrative in which the cop takes on another case of financial corruption against a high-octane antagonist, Riteish Deshmukh, has struck a chord with people. Second key role- Vaani Kapoor. Watching Devgn cross the ₹90cr initial week threshold all but cements that he is a frequent at-the-box-office.

Looking Ahead
Despite moving past an important stage, trade analysts will be on the edge of their seats over how the film fares in its second week, with particular focus on the next weekend to figure out whether it will sustain this run and enter into elusive ₹100 crore club in the coming days.
While being plagued with competition and some dip in daily collection, Raid 2 is firmly established now in terms of its notional status from the ROP box office space.
