Two people – a student died when a tragic road accident took place in Dehradun’s Shimla bypass. The grim reality of road travel in the Uttarakhand region was once again brought to light by an incident.
Details Of The Accident: A bus (traveling on shimla bypass) hit by another car in the numerator and it overturned the bus. The shock of the impact caused immediate passenger injuries in a major category, and two individuals died on scene from their wounds. Another victim is a student, this makes the event very somber.
Rescue teams were promptly called in to the location and search & rescue operations started. Rescue teams from the local residents also helped in pulling people out of the trunk of an overturned bus. The injured were rushed to nearby hospitals for surgery.
Uttarakhand Police have ordered an inquiry into the near fatal accident which occurred immediately after taking place. The vehicle was searched by police road to collect evidence and road conditions will be examined to find out what happens in the chain of events.
