Delhi – Police today said an immediate investigation is underway after a 38yr woman discovered dead with what is appears to be gunshot injuries was found in GTB Enclave area of Shahdara, East Delhi in the early hours of this morning.
The finding led to the immediate take-off of a Police investigation by Delhi Police.
Police were called after body of dead female was discovered in GTB Enclave residence. People alerted the police when they spotted something fishy. On their arrival, our Delhi Police team came across the poor victim dead and riddled from head to toe with visible gunshot wounds in puddle of blood.
A police official said that the incident has been reported and a team of forensic specialists and peace squad have already been sent to the site to collect evidence.

The body was moved to a mortuary for the examination of cause of death and how many bullet wounds inflicted.
Inquiries point to the idea, that the dead woman who was found is not, in fact, one living alone in her house when it all happened. Police are obviously not discounting any option and trying to rule out murder. The identity of the victim has been established, and the family are looking to be informed.
Police have cordoned off the neighbourhood where the house is situated as part of a wide search for clues and witnesses with the help of Delhi Police. Door to door inquiries ordered to probe the reason of death/ disappearance of the woman.
The incident has jolted the otherwise quiet GTB Enclave in Shahdara residential area. The violence in which their neighbouring was killed as residents voiced their anguish and saddened. Increased police after the community to restore peace in its locality
Delhi Police is closely examining the CCTV from around that area to track any suspicious movement or individuals The police are also tracing overland of dead man into his personal’s and professional life to probe motive.
